FEDERAL WAY, Wash. (AP) — A busy Interstate-5 onramp in Federal Way will be closed for at least the next three weeks. The Washington state Department of Transportation estimates about 10,000 drivers in Western Washington will have to find a new route.
KING-TV (http://bit.ly/ohtv3R ) reports crews are improving the access ramps on one of the busiest interchanges in the state.
State officials expect congestion around the site to be the worst during the first few days of construction, which begins Monday. A detour is in place.
