Veteran Jack Hillen signs with Predators

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — The Nashville Predators have signed defenseman Jack Hillen to a one-year contract.

He spent his first three professional seasons with the New York Islanders. The two-way contract is worth $650,000 at the NHL level and $105,000 at the AHL level.

In 175 career games, the 25-year-old Hillen has 50 points (eight goals and 42 assists).
