SALEM, Ore. (AP) — Sheriff’s deputies say a Salem man and woman have been found dead in their backyard hot tub.

The Marion County Sheriff’s office says the two were found dead Monday morning by someone who had arrived to drop off children normally cared for by one of the victims.

The sheriff’s office said no information was immediately available about the cause of death, and that investigators were at the scene.

The victims were identified as 56-year-old Terry A. Kent and 57-year-old Melinda R. Sweeten.
