WASHINGTON (AP) — Congressman Jim McDermott and his wife of nearly 14 years, Therese Hansen, are divorcing.
The Seattle Democrat released a statement Tuesday saying, “The end of a marriage is difficult and painful. This is a personal matter and I hope you will respect our privacy.”
