Woman, 63, dead after scuba diving in Wash.

STEILACOOM, Wash. (AP) — A 63-year-old woman has died while scuba diving with a companion in Steilacoom, Wash., near Tacoma.

Town Administrator Paul Loveless says the diving partner pulled the unconscious woman onto Sunnyside Beach on Monday afternoon. Medics tried unsuccessfully to revive her.

The woman was not immediately identified pending notification of relatives.
