BOULDER, Colo. (AP) — University of Colorado athletic director Mike Bohn is getting a five-year extension following a unanimous vote by the school’s board of regents Wednesday.

Bohn’s base salary remains the same at $297,000 and he can earn $154,000 more in annual incentives. The deal runs through June 30, 2016.

Bohn was instrumental in the university’s switch from the Big 12 to the Pac-12. He also fired football coach Dan Hawkins and women’s basketball coach Kathy McConnell-Miller, replacing them with Mike Embree and Linda Lappe, respectively.
