SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — Authorities have identified an Oregon couple and a young girl from Washington who were killed in a fiery collision along a Northern California freeway.
Yolo County Chief Deputy Coroner Robert LaBrash said Wednesday that 53-year-old Robert Lee Taylor and 49-year-old Linda Danell Taylor were found inside a badly burned SUV. The couple was from Monmouth, Ore.
La-nessa Leann DeMillo, a 2-year-old girl from Tacoma, Wash., died in another vehicle that also caught fire.
Six vehicles were involved in the Monday pileup along Interstate 5, just north of the state capital. Seven others were injured.
