MEDFORD, Ore. (AP) — The 51-year-old Southern Oregon man accused of killing his wife and four kids and setting the house on fire is due back in court.
Jordan Adam Criado of Medford will be arraigned Friday on aggravated murder and other indictments handed up this week by the Jackson County grand jury.
Criado is now represented by court-appointed defense lawyers specially qualified to defend people charged in cases that may carry the death penalty.
He has yet to enter a plea to the charges of aggravated murder, felony murder, manslaughter, and arson.
After spending three weeks in the hospital recovering from smoke inhalation after the fire, Criado was arrested last week and remains in jail without bail.
