SALEM, Ore. (AP) — Salem’s largest medical marijuana club has a new office, and it’s opening the doors for the public one day a week.
The Statesman Journal reports that guests can’t medicate there, but the public can learn about medical marijuana. People who just got their Oregon Medical Marijuana Program cards can learn how to get started, and longtime cardholders can just hang out.
The cannabis club and its resource center sets up patients with growers or plants and other supplies without cost.
Salem Police Lt. Dave Okada says officers who work in the area haven’t reported any problems or complaints about the club.
