PRINEVILLE, Ore. (AP) — The Central Oregon Community College plans to open a new campus in Prineville next week, offering services such as adult education and computer labs to Crook C County residents.
The Bulletin of Bend (http://bit.ly/opfhgE ) reports that the 12,000-square-foot Crook County Open Campus is one of the college’s construction projects largely built by proceeds from a bond issue approved in 2009.
Others expected to open this fall are the Madras Education Center and the Jungers Culinary Center in Bend.
The college expects about 150 credit students to enroll at the Crook County Campus this year and projects that number to more than double next year.
