Corps to discuss sediment management

A public forum in Toutle on Tuesday will focus on sediment management of the Mount St. Helens area.

Representatives from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, hosting the event, will discuss the results of recent sediment studies and the agency’s long-term plan to manage the North Fork Toutle River. The presentation begins at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday; doors will open at 6 p.m.

The forum will meet in the multipurpose room of Toutle Lake High School, 5050 Spirit Lake Highway in Toutle.
