Dabnabit wins Monmouth Park feature

OCEANPORT, N.J. (AP) — Dabnabit won a three-horse stretch battle to win the $65,000 Colts Neck Handicap at Monmouth Park on Sunday, beating Gunfighter by a half-length.

Ridden by Victor Santiago and trained by Luis Carvajal Jr., the 6-year-old ran the six furlongs over a good track in 1:10 1/5 and paid $27.40, $10.20 and $5.40.

Gunfighter, who was sent off as the betting 9-5 favorite, returned $3.60 and $2.60, while Hop Skip and Away was a neck back in third and paid $3.60 to show.
