WALNUT CREEK, Calif. (AP) — The Pac-12 has hired longtime sports media and marketing executive Gary Stevenson to run the conference’s television and Internet networks.
Commissioner Larry Scott announced Monday that Stevenson would be the head of the conference’s new Pac-12 Enterprises company.
Stevenson brings 30-plus years of experience to the conference. He was worked at the NBA, the PGA Tour, the Golf Channel, and as head of his own highly successful consulting firm, OnSport. Scott called Stevenson one of the “true visionaries” in the industry.
Stevenson will oversee the Pac-12’s six regional cable networks and a national network, the Pac-12 Digital Network, and Pac-12 Properties, which will handle all sponsorship, licensing and event management for the conference.
