Jennifer Jean Cox and Raphael Christian Wuest were married June 25, 2011, at Washougal United Methodist Church. Rev. Randy Henderson officiated.

The maid of honor was Wendy Moats, cousin of the bride. The junior attendant was Hannah Sternberg and the ring bearer was Jordan Sternberg.

The wedding colors were purple, blue, ivory and silver. Flowers were white calla lilies, blue hydrangea, blue bella donna, purple lisianthus and sweet pea.

The best man was Simon Wuest, brother of the groom, The candle lighter was Brandon Moats. Ushers were Jim Burgum, Aaron Sternberg, Brandon Moats and Jordan Sternberg.

The bride is the daughter of Gene and Cathy Cox of Washougal. She graduated from Washougal High School and earned a bachelor’s in education from Western Washington University, and a master’s in reading and literacy from City University. She works as an elementary school teacher at Zurich International School in Switzerland.

The groom is the son of Mara Widmer of Kaltbrunn, Switzerland, and Herbert Wuest of Winkel, Switzerland. He graduated from KV Zurich Business School, and completed a degree for Swiss certified specialist in finance and accounting. He plans to attend Kalaidos Business School for a master’s certificate.
