TACOMA, Wash. (AP) — The Washington State Patrol says an accident Monday on Highway 512 was caused by a driver making a rude hand gesture to another driver as she was attempting a lane change.

KING reports (http://bit.ly/o1JnlK) she lost control and rear-ended another car, causing it to roll over in a ditch. Three people suffered minor injuries.

The gesturing woman may face a reckless driving charge.
