Eugene Police seek driver in fatal hit-and-run

EUGENE, Ore. (AP) — Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash that killed a bicyclist in Eugene.

KEZI-TV reports (http://bit.ly/npZZVt ) that a witness saw 56-year-old Jeffery Paul Mauren lying in the road late Tuesday night and stopped to help. The witness reported that a sports car similar to a Toyota Supra then ran over Mauren and kept going.

Mauren was prounounced dead at the scene.
