Orchards — The employees of the Orchards Fred Meyer store donated $5,000 to FISH of Orchards on Aug. 3. The donation was a prize the store won in a competition against other Fred Meyer stores.

The location with the largest percentage of employees giving at least $1 per paycheck for a year to the Fred Meyer Fund received $5,000 to donate to a local nonprofit of its choice. The Orchards store had 71 percent of its employees participating.
