Resident stabbed in Raymond home break-in

RAYMOND, Wash. (AP) — Police are looking for a suspected burglar who stabbed a Pacific County resident.

KANY-FM reports that the stabbing occurred at about 5:30 a.m. Friday at a home two miles east of Raymond. Sheriff Scott Johnson says that before the suspect left, the victim fired a handgun at him.

The suspect was described as being dressed in black. Officials warned residents of the area to keep their doors and windows locked.
