Fire destroys hay barn in Terrebonne

TERREBONNE, Ore. (AP) — A fire destroyed a barn filled with 70 tons of hay in Terrobonne, Ore.

KTVZ-TV (http://bit.ly/paCdx0) reports the Saturday evening fire also destroyed a tractor and haying equipment.

Authorities believe the fire was human-caused. They estimate damages total $70,000.

A dozen firefighters, including two volunteers, contained the blaze to the barn and immediate area around it.

Fire crews were remained on the scene overnight to monitor the blaze, because of the large amount of hay in the barn.
