JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) — The Jacksonville Jaguars have released veteran quarterback Todd Bouman, linebacker Gerris Wilkinson and rookie receiver Greg Ellingson.

Bouman signed with the Jaguars earlier this month to fill in for injured quarterbacks David Garrard and Luke McCown. Garrard missed time with a sore back, and McCown had a rib injury. Both are healthy now, so Bouman did not play in the last two preseason games. The 39-year-old Bouman completed 2 of 10 passes for 35 and an interception at New England.

Wilkinson signed with Jacksonville as a free agent after spending the last five years with the New York Giants. Ellingson was an undrafted rookie from Florida International.

The Jaguars have 82 players on their roster and need to trim two before Tuesday’s deadline.
