WASHINGTON (AP) — The Portland Timbers-D.C. United game postponed by Hurricane Irene will be made up on Oct. 19.
The game originally was scheduled for Saturday, but it was postponed by MLS as the storm approached the nation’s capital.
The new schedule will give United three home games in the final eight days of the regular season. They host the Chicago Fire on Oct. 15 and Sporting Kansas City on Oct. 22.
