7 injured in Salem custody dispute

SALEM, Ore. (AP) — A custody dispute in Salem ended with seven people injured.

Police told the Statesman Journal (http://bit.ly/oEnNGC) a mother was trying to drive away from a volatile situation Monday when her car struck three people in an apartment parking lot. Two were treated at a hospital.

Police said four other people had minor cuts and scrapes in the fracas.

The woman was not arrested but could be charged after an investigation.
