ASHBURN, Va. (AP) — The Washington Redskins’ quarterback competition is entering its final days.
John Beck and Rex Grossman have one preseason game left to make a case, when the Redskins visit Tampa Bay on Thursday.
Coach Mike Shanahan sat all of his starters for last year’s final preseason game, but he says it’s “completely different” this year, in part because of the lockout.
Beck and Grossman are doing their best not to let the suspense get to them. Grossman says he wants to know who will win, but he’s not “stressing about it.”
