3 to be inducted into Photojournalism Hall of Fame

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — A former Associated Press photographer is among three photojournalists who are being inducted into the Missouri Photojournalism Hall of Fame in Washington, Mo.

This year’s inductees are Cliff Schiappa, former photographer and assistant bureau chief for The Associated Press in Kansas City; J.B. Forbes, chief photographer for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch; and Alan Berner, a St. Louis native who has been a staff photographer for The Seattle Times for three decades.

The three comprise the seventh group of inductees since the Hall of Fame was founded in 2005.

The induction ceremony is scheduled for Oct. 20 in Washington.
