Columbia Way — YWCA Clark County’s Y’s Care program received $10,000 from the Beaches Summer Cruisin‘ event held July 27. Y’s Care provides preschool education to children from homeless, transitional or low-income households. Y’s Care directors thanked Mark Mathias, owner of Beaches, and all the volunteers, sponsors and partners who participated in the cruise-in. “We so appreciate Mark’s continued support of our pre-school program. Many children will be able to get scholarships thanks to his generosity,” said Leah Reitz, Y’s Care director.
