Boy rescued from Mukilteo, Wash., cliff

MUKILTEO, Wash. (AP) — The Mukilteo, Wash., Fire Department says firefighters using ropes and harnesses have rescued a 13-year-old boy who got stuck on a steep cliff.

Fire officials say the boy was climbing the cliff Tuesday evening when he became stuck 30 or 40 feet up. No one was injured.

The Daily Herald says Snohomish County Fire District 1 and Mukilteo police assisted.
