SEATTLE (AP) — A man accused of shooting a woman to death at a bus stop south of Seattle pleaded not guilty Thursday to a second-degree murder charge.

King County Superior Court documents say 25-year-old Anthony H. Smith shot 23-year-old Maria “Sweetheart” Failautusi early on Aug. 16 in a fight between two groups in the White Center neighborhood.

KOMO reports (http://bit.ly/p973IN ) the fight began when a man asked the victim and her friends for a cigarette and they refused.
