La Salle routs Bucknell 78-52

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — La Salle coach John Giannini picked up his 400th career win as the Explorers defeated Bucknell 78-52 on Saturday.

Ramon Galloway scored 20 points, Earl Pettis added 18 points, and Tyreek Duren and Devon White each had 11 for the Explorers (5-3), who are 12-1 at home in the series.

La Salle started the game with an 11-2 run, then added a 10-2 run to lead 32-14 after two Duren free throws with 4:34 remaining in the half. The Explorers led by 20 points at halftime and by at least 17 throughout the second half.

Galloway was 5 of 8 on 3-pointers while the Explorers shot 44.4 percent (12 of 27) from long distance.

Bucknell entered the game shooting 45.3 percent from the field, but made fewer than 33 percent of its shots (20 of 61) for the second time this season.

Joe Willman scored 14 for the Bison (5-4).
