SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. (AP) — Rob Jones had 18 points and 12 rebounds and Saint Mary’s made four free throws in the final seconds to hold on for a 59-54 victory against Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo on Saturday night.

Brad Waldow added 13 points and Matthew Dellavedova 10 for the Gaels (5-1), who won on Cal Poly’s floor for the first time in five meetings. Jones had three blocks.

Will Donohue’s layup with 13 seconds remaining got Cal Poly within 55-54, but Jorden Page made both attempts from the line at the other end. The Mustangs (5-3) could not get off a shot as Donahue turned the ball over, and Dellavedova sank two free throws to clinch the win.

David Hanson led Cal Poly with 15 points.
