BEREA, Ohio (AP) — Browns quarterback Colt McCoy sprained his right knee in Sunday’s loss to Baltimore, but is not expected to miss any time.

McCoy got hurt throwing a screen pass in the first quarter. The second-year QB came out for one play but finished Cleveland’s 24-10 loss. Browns coach Pat Shurmur doesn’t think McCoy will sit out Thursday’s game at Pittsburgh, saying McCoy is “probably just sore.”

Shurmur didn’t have much to say about McCoy’s performance other than “he battled.”

Browns running back Peyton Hillis strained his hip against the Ravens. Shurmur said Hillis, who missed five straight games with a hamstring injury, is day to day.

Safety T.J. Ward has been ruled out against the Steelers. It will be the fifth game he has missed with a foot sprain.
