Marist eases past Rider 95-75

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. (AP) — Devin Price scored 25 points to help Marist cruise past Rider 95-75 on Sunday, snapping an eight-game losing streak against the Broncs.

Adam Kemp added 19 points, Chavaughn Lewis 17 and Isaiah Morton 15 for the Red Foxes (3-5, 1-1 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference), who led the entire contest. Price opened the game with a 3-pointer that started the Red Foxes on a 14-4 run, and they never looked back.

They led 45-36 at the break and outscored Rider 50-39 in the second half.

Marist outshot Rider from 3-point range, hitting at 65 percent (13 of 20) compared to just a 7.1 mark (1 of 14) for the Broncs.

The Red Foxes also won the battle of the boards 34-24.

Daniel Stewart led Rider (1-7, 0-2) with 22 points, Dera Nd-Ezuma had 14, Brandon Penn 11 and Jonathan Thompson 10.
