WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (AP) — Purdue wide receiver O.J. Ross has been suspended from the team indefinitely for violating team policy and rules.

Coach Danny Hope announced the move Tuesday in a news release. He did not offer additional details.

The sophomore from Ormond Beach, Fla., had 33 receptions for 356 yards and three touchdowns for the Boilermakers this season.

Hope said Ross’ status for the Dec. 27 Little Caesars Pizza Bowl against Western Michigan has not been determined.
