Olympia — Republican state Reps. Bruce Chandler and David Taylor invite their 15th District constituents to participate in a telephone town hall meeting at 6:35 p.m. Thursday.

The call-in radio-show-style event begins at 6:35 p.m. Call 1-877-229-8493 and enter pass code 15540 to participate.

The 15th District covers a sliver of northeast Clark County along the Columbia Gorge, along with Skamania and Klickitat counties.

The Legislature convened Nov. 28 in a 30-day special session to consider how to pare $2 billion in spending due to a revenue shortfall. Many of the proposed cuts are to human services, education and public safety. The 60-day regular session is set to begin Jan. 8.

Constituents with questions before the event can contact Chandler at 360-786-7960 or bruce.chandler@leg.wa.gov. Taylor can be reached at 360-786-7874 or david.taylor@leg.wa.gov.
