ABERDEEN, Wash. (AP) — Embattled Aberdeen High School football coach Ron Clark has stepped down.

In October he was accused of bullying a player who subsequently quit the team.

KXRO reports the school board reprimanded Clark last month, and the superintendent said no decision had been made on whether to offer him a contract to coach the Bobcats next season.

Clark remains a weight training teacher at Aberdeen High School.
