A woman armed with a handgun held up the Sparky’s Pizza at 14300 N.E. 20th Ave. about 9 p.m. Sunday night, Clark County sheriff’s Sgt. Chad Rothenberger said.

The sergeant said an employee reported that the woman entered the store and demanded money.

“The suspect pulled a handgun from her waistband and displayed it as she was demanding the money. After receiving the cash, the suspect fled from the store on foot,” Rothenberger wrote. A search, including the use of a Battle Ground Police Department dog, was unsuccessful.

The robber is described as white, 20 to 30 years old, short and thin, with short dark hair and a black hoodie.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
