Ogden — Student athletes at Vancouver Christian High School gathered warm winter clothes for two weeks. The students collected more than 200 sweatshirts and hoodies, along with numerous vests, gloves and coats and delivered them to the Portland Rescue Mission. The school’s mission includes community service, and students receive credit for their efforts. If you need volunteer assistance or would like to volunteer with the students, visit the school, 8205 N.E. Fourth Plain Blvd.; or call 360-735-7915.
