Two people were injured in Fisher’s Landing on Monday evening when the motorcycle they rode on crashed.

About 5:20 p.m., a man was operating a motorcycle at Southeast 164th Avenue and 29th Street with his juvenile stepdaughter on the back, said Officer Ilia Botvinnik with the Vancouver Police Department.

When a vehicle ahead of them stopped, the man braked hard and crashed before hitting the back of the car.

Both motorcycle riders were injured. Their names and conditions were not immediately available Monday night.

The motorcycle operator had only a learner’s permit but no driver’s license endorsement that would allow him to carry a passenger, Botvinnik said.
