Lakes 55, Union 42 — At a tournament hosted by Franklin of Seattle, the Lancers topped the cold-shooting Titans.

Jordan Johnson led the way with 23 points, and hit a pair of timely 3-pointers in the fourth quarter to keep Union from seriously threatening the Lakes lead.

Union (5-2) will play at 6:15 p.m. today for third place against host Franklin, which lost 73-71 to Lincoln on Wednesday.

Jordan Chatman led the Titans with 19 points.

Zach Banner, 6-foot-9 senior who is considered among the top offensive line college football recruits in the country, was limited to two points but was a rebounding force for the Lancers.
