SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) — A United flight from Chicago to Portland made an unscheduled landing in Spokane.

KXLY reports the plane had made a routine stop Wednesday night for refueling at Spokane International Airport. But after it took off the pilot noticed a problem with hydraulics and decided to turn around.

Emergency crews were on hand as a precaution. The plane landed safely. Passengers were re-booked on a Thursday morning flight for Portland.
