COOS BAY, Ore. (AP) — Citing health issues, Joanie Johnson has resigned from the Coos Bay, Ore., City Council.
She turned in her resignation letter Tuesday. The World newspaper says that in the letter, Johnson wrote that she is suffering from “an undetermined auto immune disorder.” She says one area affected by the disorder is her speech.
