East Minnehaha — The East Minnehaha Neighborhood Association and the Walnut Grove Elementary PTA brought delight to more than 450 children at a Dec. 15 holiday party at Walnut Grove Elementary School. Goodies for the kids included 27 new bikes provided by Waste Connections, Walnut Grove church and others; decorated trees; and gifts, snacks and games donated by local businesses and sister neighborhood associations. New Leaf Dental brought a roulette wheel and handed out prizes. Volunteers and kids also made holiday cards for troops overseas. Children even won gifts for their parents.
