Sophomores Shayla Bell and Madison Bare made their varsity debuts as the short-handed Timberwolves edged Kelso at the Mark Morris Tournament.

Heritage had just six players, said coach Karrin Wilson.

Kelso tied the game with four seconds left, then fouled Kynze Lyons, who made the free-throws to win the game.

Emily Myers, normally a post player, handled point guard duties for Heritage.

Heritage plays Mark Morris Thursday.
