EUGENE, Ore. (AP) — A 43-year-old woman has filed a lawsuit in federal court against a former probation officer now imprisoned — making her the 12th person to sue him.

The Eugene Register-Guard reports that the woman filed the suit against 52-year-old Mark John Walker last month. It also seeks damages from the U.S. Department of Parole and Probation.

A dozen people have accused Walker of using his position to manipulate and/or sexually abuse them while under his supervision.

Walker is serving a 10-year prison term after pleading guilty last spring to sexually abusing five probationers between April 2005 and June 2009.

She alleges in the civil suit that he coerced her into sexual relations by threatening to have her taken back into custody if she did not comply with his demands.
