CHICAGO (AP) — An attorney says a class-action lawsuit naming Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Kyle Orton as a plaintiff was also filed on behalf of around 20 NFL players.

The lawsuit filed this week in Cook County Circuit Court claims bad financial advice from the law firm Chuhak & Tecson cost Orton and the other players millions of dollars related to energy investments.

A message seeking comment from the Chicago-based firm on Friday wasn’t immediately returned.

The suit only lists two individuals by name as plaintiffs — Orton and Atlanta attorney Edward Rappaport.

An attorney who filed the suit, Daniel Konicek, told The Associated Press other clients he represents in the case are NFL players. He declined to identify them.
