BELLEVUE, Wash. (AP) — A man died early Friday after apparently falling three stories from the atrium escalator at Bellevue’s Lincoln Square.

Bellevue police Lt. Marsha Harnden said the man was sitting on the escalator’s handrail when he fell about 1:30 a.m. Police believe the death was an accident, and they are investigating whether alcohol played a role.
