CORBETT, Ore. (AP) — Searchers say they have found two Oregon sisters reported missing overnight in the Columbia River Gorge.

The family of 53-year-old Leesa Azar and her 50-year-old sister, Leslie Azar, had reported them missing Tuesday night when they failed to return from a day hike on trails near Horsetail Falls.

But Multnomah County sheriff’s deputies said just after noon Wednesday the pair had been found and appeared to be in good condition.

Rescuers were assisting them back down from the trail system.
