CLEVELAND (AP) — Ohio State football recruit Chris Carter was arrested Tuesday for sexual imposition after a complaint he fondled a girl while pretending to measure her for an ROTC uniform.

Carter, a 6-foot-4, 325-pound offensive senior lineman at John F. Kennedy High School in Cleveland, was expected to sign with the Buckeyes on Wednesday.

A 15-year-old victim told school officials on Tuesday that Carter asked her to go with him to a room, told her he was measuring her for the uniform and then groped her, according to the police report. It also said Carter said he had fondled other girls and gave them a book in which he had recorded their measurements.

Carter spent Tuesday night in jail. Ohio State officials declined to comment.
