PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — A fund raiser for the families of slain Rainer Police Chief Ralph Painter and wounded Lincoln City Officer Steven Dodds collected $3,600 last weekend at Harvey’s Comedy Club in Portland.

Police say club owner Barry Kolin more than matched that amount to bring the total to $8,000 or $4,000 for each family.
