INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — The Toronto Raptors finally escaped Indianapolis on Wednesday after being stuck there since Monday night because of the winter storm that has swept the nation.

Team spokesman Jim LaBumbard says the team landed in Atlanta in time for Wednesday night’s game against the Hawks. The game was scheduled for 7 p.m.

The Raptors lost their 12th straight game, 104-93 to the Indiana Pacers on Monday, and things got worse from there. They re-checked into the Conrad Hotel in downtown Indianapolis that night, and they couldn’t make it out of town on Tuesday, either. The team finally left for Atlanta on Wednesday morning, and went straight from the airport to a shootaround.
