ZURICH (AP) — World Cup winner Spain leads the FIFA rankings, and new Asian champion Japan has moved into the top 20. The United States remains at No. 18 to lead CONCACAF teams.

African champion Egypt dropped out of the top 10, down to No. 33, because its title is more than a year old. Spain heads an unchanged top nine, followed by the Netherlands, Germany, Brazil and Argentina. Greece moved up to No. 10.

World Cup quarterfinalist Ghana leads the African teams, moving up one to No. 15.

Japan rose 12 spots to No. 17 and tops the Asian teams after its continental championship win last weekend.

Qatar moves to No. 90 after reaching the Asian Cup quarterfinals.
